Carolyn believes in continuous education. She obtained an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree in Industry & Finance from the University of Guelph in 1994. Carolyn then went on to complete several financial planning courses including the Chartered Financial Planner designation & Investment Management Techniques through the Canadian Securities Institute.

Carolyn, her husband Lee, and their two daughters reside in Aurora.
